You wouldn't necessarily think it but the circular motifs for this joyous pouf were inspired by traditional Malian mudcloth motifs. Gone though are the sombre earth colours of mudcloth: in their place, gorgeously lavish heavy embroidery in zingy neon orange, lime and bright pink on beige linen. LIke all our poufs, this is plump and well-stuffed. I love poufs - for perching, propping up your feet, resting a tray on, even as an impromptu dog bed or homework table for small ones - there's virtually nothing they're not super-useful for, so I'm always pleased to offer one for your home.
